15 Minutes: AMAZINGGGGG should have been on the original album along with Busy Woman imo. (10/10) Please Please Please (Ft. Dolly): An absolute mess. The production is so messy and Dolly's vocals are really bad tbh... (4/10 cause I like the original song) Couldn't Make It Any Harder: Definitely sounds like Hopelessly Devoted To You, it's really cute and different from any other song, and it builds really nicely. (7/10) Busy Woman: So so so catchy and fun!! (10/10) Bad Reviews: Cute country ballad which seems to be about the same muse as Please Please Please and I love the melody. Personally would have preferred this to be on the album over Coincidence or Dumb & Poetic but at the same time I understand why it wasn't. (8/10)

what’s a Lana quote that has stuck with you?
taco truck replied to misselectrarockwell's topic in Lana Thoughts
“When I was young and I was really aware of my own mortality, like when I realized we were all going to die, that kind of overshadowed my existence. But then also as I got older, and became a teenager, I had fleeting moments of happiness when I started falling in love and meeting amazing people.” “I think when I grew up I just didn’t really connect to anything. Felt like everyday life was just sort of mundane and I was really worried that I would never feel connected to my profession or get to do anything that makes me feel really alive. And just being able to sing, it just makes me feel electric and lucky.” -

This is so crazy to me because it seems like you’re implying that labels shouldn’t prop artists up and help them succeed and give them resources and instead they should just drop artists if they aren’t an overnight organic success. Dua Lipa had one so called “flop” albums and you’re already acting like her career is over? Camila Cabello barely ever even took off. Labels are supposed to do what they did for Sabrina and Charli, and just because they have a label backing them does not make their success “inorganic”.

Golden Age is her best song

I like most pop artists and am genuinely sooo tired of stan wars omg, pop culture used to be a fun thing and now it feels exhausting ... I don’t get why people think it matters if they dislike an artist, even if I dislike an artist the most I will say is their music is not for me! I was just thinking earlier how terrible it would be to be a celebrity and have one of the snark subreddits made about you and everyone is criticizing every minuscule thing that you do and making up their own version of you in their head. I feel like people always jump to the worst conclusions too when it comes to celebrities (specifically female pop stars). People talk about how stars were treated in the 2000s but the cycle never stops and it feels like it’s gotten sooo much worse in the past 5 years.
