ANYWAY as someone who has been dealing with insurance this past year, I think the conversation as a whole should be focused on speaks insurance companies/scams rather than is the killer hot or not murder is bad 

Lana herself described the songs as half cooked and said she didn’t want to make them something they’re not, so Sirens (Lana’s version) makes perfect sense to me 

honestly I would love another chemtrails style record but with slighty more umph in poduction, 12 tracks and not so many unreleased.

it's kinda like the insiders aren't trying to say interesting or exciting stuff this time around but just to flaunt their knowledge without actually saying anything anyway i'm very excited for the album and i trust Lana's vision

I like SZAs music but I could never be a stan because of how messy her releases are  
the fact that Good Days started the era back in 2020 and the Deluxe just came out today almost 4 years later to the day  
the music is good though so I’ll give her that

I think a big part of it has been the cultural shift post-2020. The culture in general right now is more “conservative” and Americana aesthetics are what’s in (Old Money, Country, etc.) compared to the mid-late 2010’s where the dominant culture seemed to be more “liberal” and colorful. Not saying Lana embodies conservative values (although after her marriage to that guy, who really knows) but a lot of her music really fits the atmosphere right now.
 
Let the Light In & Margaret really emphasize this point because those are more simple, organic sounding songs, which sort of “lean” country. If this was 5 years ago, we would’ve seen Fishtail and Peppers pop off.

Congressional ethics investigators found evidence Matt gaetz drugged and paid to have sex with a 17 year old girl amongst many other people. Nothing trump does surprises me at this point, but way this man was supposed to be our attorney general is disturbing

Mike Johnson and the Republican House can’t even pass a routine government continuance bill without nearly caving in on itself. It’d be funnier if the next two years weren’t going to be absolute hell on earth.
