Soft Pink Lace Doily Free Crochet Pattern



Hello everyone!🙂 

This time I am sharing the Soft Pink Lace Doily crochet pattern with you. If you can crochet in the round and know how to work the basic crochet stitches, you are good to go. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Written Pattern

Size: The doily measures approx. 27 cm (10.6 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn in color 11242 (light pink) . 27 grams (81 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet

    ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.


    Instructions

    Start with ch5, sl st. into first ch st. to form a ring. Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.

    Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 15dc into ring. 
    Join with a sl st. on top of ch3 (into 3rd ch).

    Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, 
    (1dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 15 times around. Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch.

    Round 3: ch3 (counts as a dc), 
    (ch3, 1dc into next dc st.)* repeat 15 times around. Join with ch1 + 1hdc into 3rd ch to make last ch3.

    Round 4: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1+ 1hdc) space of the previous round, ch6, 1sc into next ch3 space, 
    (ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch6, 1sc into next ch3 space)* repeat 7 times around. Join with ch1 + 1hdc into first sc to make last ch3.

    Round 5: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1hdc) space of the previous round, 6dc into next ch6 space, ch2, 6dc into same ch6 space, 
    (1sc into next ch3 space, 6dc into next ch6 space, ch2, 6dc into same ch6 space)* repeat 7 times around. Join with a sl st. into first sc.

    Round 6: ch4 (counts as a trc), ch5, 1trc into same st. (into base of that first ch4), ch5, skip next 6 sts, 1sc into next ch2 space,
    (ch5, skip next 6 sts, 1trc into next sc st., ch5, 1trc into same sc st., ch5, skip next 6 sts, 1sc into next ch2 space)* repeat 7 times around. Join with ch2 + 1dc into 4th ch to make last ch5.

    Round 7: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, ch5,
    (1sc into next ch5 space, ch5)* repeat 23 times around. Join with a sl st. into first sc.

    Round 8: sl st. into next ch5 space, ch3(counts as a dc), 4dc into same ch5 space, ch1,
    (5dc into next ch5 space, ch1)* repeat 23 times around. Join with a sl st. on top of ch3 (into 3rd ch).

    Round 9: sl st. into next 2 sts, ch3 (counts as a dc), ch3, skip next 2 sts, 1dc into next ch1 space, ch3, 
    (skip next 2 sts, 1dc into next st., ch3, skip next 2 sts, 1dc into next ch1 space, ch3)* repeat 23 times around. Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch.

    Round 10: ch3 (counts as a dc), 
    (ch3, 1dc into next dc st.)* repeat 47 times around. Join with ch1 + 1hdc into 3rd ch to make last ch3.

    Round 11: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1hdc) space of the previous round, ch6, 1sc into next ch3 space,
    (ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch6, 1sc into next ch3 space)* repeat 23 times around. Join with ch1 + 1hdc into first sc to make last ch3.

    Round 12: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1hdc) space of the previous round, (1hdc, 5dc, ch3, 5dc, 1hdc) into next ch6 space,
    (1sc into next ch3 space, (1hdc, 5dc, ch3, 5dc, 1hdc) into next ch6 space)* repeat 23 times around. Join with a sl st. into first sc.

    Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
