How to install Pi-apps

The source files for Pi-Apps are hosted at https://www.github.com/botspot/pi-apps, and this is where you will find the instructions and the latest version of the software.

To install Pi-Apps on your Raspberry Pi, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Terminal:
    • Open the Terminal on your Raspberry Pi by clicking on the Terminal icon in the taskbar or pressing Ctrl+Alt+T.
  2. Download the Pi-Apps Script:

    • Run the following command in the Terminal to download the Pi-Apps installation script:

      wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Botspot/pi-apps/master/install | bash
  3. Run Pi-Apps:

    • Once the installation is complete, you can launch Pi-Apps by running the following command in the Terminal:

      pi-apps
  4. Browse and Install Applications:
    • Use the Pi-Apps interface to browse, search, and install applications on your Raspberry Pi. You can filter applications by category, search for specific packages, and manage installed software.
