I am running 4x 8MB 70nS (32MB) right now, but when I grab
some 16MB simms, I'll pop it up to 64MB. 71G0438 Synchrostream!
I ran a POD and L2 256K WB, but I got some lockups under OS/2
(that's ODD) so I pulled the L2 until a future install.
Video
OS/2 identified the chipset correctly AND offers some hi-res
modes, especially when you pump it up to 2MB with the addition of two 256kx16
SOJs (cheap things, maybe $2.50 each). I set it up on my 17" Eizo for 800x600x64k
at 72 Hz. I love it. Finally, decent video...

The Reply setup program is different. I am still figuring
how to LLF SCSI drives. Also, setup takes a while to identify and configure
SCSI devices, to include SCSI adapters. I got an IBM SCSI w/cache lit up
finally. Ran the IBM diagnostics on it. So I think I can just copy the
*.dgs files and try again.
Floppy
Controller supports 1.44 and 2.88MB floppy drives.
Presently running a 2.88MB floppy from a 95.
Failure to Copy ADF, or Damaged ADFs
I tried to install a FW and a FWSR on my Powerboard, but
I got errors where the setup program claimed the adf on the options disk
was damaged or that the adf was not found.
I took out the 83MHz POD and used a 486DX4-100 to successfully
install a BusLogic BT-646S that had failed before. Also, I had to edit
the @0709 adf because the Reply setup called it @0708 (BT-640).
My SWAG- either a timing or compatibility problem (without
interposer) exists. After copying an options disk, you must reinstall the
POD.
