Holiday Hummingbird - Pinkfresh Studio + The Greetery

I love combining unexpected things - like Hummingbirds for Christmas! Many places around the world experience a Summer-y Christmas, and when it gets this chilly, I sure whish I was in one. Instead, I'll dream about spending a Christmas where birds still chirp and winter is merely a state of the heart. Sigh...


To make my card today, I used leftover bits from this card, along with some ink-blended patterns. 


Once I stacked my designs together, I cut them using a frame die, to create a little texture around the edges.


The hummingbird is a favorite from PFS as is this cute little sentiment. I've colored both up with festive hues to give them a holly jolly personality!


Isn't this cutie just perfect for the Holidays?!


Also, while I've been on the topic of easy Holiday designs, it's worth mentioning, this card was another easy make. By creating a 4x6 panel with each blended design, and cutting them into 1"strips for the final card, I'm able to stretch it into four cards! Now that's a great way to speed up Holiday crafting, wouldn't you say?

    That hummingbird is so immensely sweet and gorgeous (as is this whole card). What a gentle soul of an illustrated avian friend. It really resonates with me.
