Organize and keep track of hotel data by setting the status of all available rooms, checking for guests staying or leaving, assigning cleaning and household tasks, calculating the time and price of the stay, etc. A photo gallery of rooms and floors is available along with regional tracking.

RoomMate is a very complete hotel booking utility. It was designed for managing hotels. It is an app that is used by staff to add new guests, set up rooms, fees and meal plans, among other things. It was written in C++ and it has a very clear and user-friendly graphical interface. I have absolutely no experience in applications like this and I was able to set the application app and use it with no problems at all. That tells you a lot about how easy it is to use.

The setup process was very straightforward. The application asks you a few questions and your answers define how the app will be set up. During the setup I was asked how many seasons the hotel worked, how many rooms I wanted to add, if I had meal plans and special rates, and what the rates were for each night, week, month, and how much additional nights and guests were charged. After that was done, you can start registering guests. When you click on the "Register new guest" button, you will be asked some information about the guest, along with payment option, number of rooms required, arrival and departure dates, meal plans, etc. When you add guests, the main window will show a monthly booking chart. In it, you will see a graphical representation of your free and rented rooms.

RoomMate can be ran on a single computer, or it can be run on multiple computers in a network.
