Philippine Civil Registry Information System (PhilCRIS) is the latest version of civil registry information system available for use by the Local Civil Registrar Offices (LCROs) of the local government units (LGUs). The previous version (CRIS) has been completely redesigned from the ground up, to deliver civil registry information management in a new, more user friendly and efficient way.

FYI, Philcris Server version installation is working fine until windows 7. If you are using windows 10 or 11, this type of installation can still work but you will need some few tweaks in the some of the files.

Jett, if you are using it as a standalone unit / server you need to allow a file (already part of the installation) over the firewall as it won't automatically run in windows 10 or 11. If you install it as a workstation, you don't need to do anything as long as the server unit is not on windows 10 or 11. We are using Philcris 3.0.4.3 version. I did not expect my comment to be posted as it did not appear after I posted it. Just got a look on this site after I have searched for something about this software.

Jett, are you from LCR? I cannot directly tell here which file to allow over firewall because there is an almost same file inside it's directory, and from experience on trying to instruct institutions that uses the software, they mostly get the wrong file.

Romulo, Hi

What is your OS version? Are you trying to use Philcris as a standalone / server? Philcris is supposed to be used only up to windows 7, but there is a workaround for that to work on windows 10-11.

Romulo, what OS version are you using? Are you using Philcris for server / standalone installation?

Philcris (server mode) is supposed to work only until windows 7, but it can still work on windows 10 & 11 with some tweaks involved.
