Flaming Splinter is a simple and enjoyable game a la Bomberman in which you command a tank and you must reach the end of the maze. The mazes are full of boxes and enemies blocking your way, so your task is destroy them by placing bombs. The enemies move all the time and they kill you if you touch them. You have a total of three lives, but you may be lucky to collect more in the form of power-ups as you play.
There are many other power-ups that you can collect, which can help you win the levels faster and more easily. These include different types of bombs, more speed, shields, etc. You may also find precious stones hidden behind the boxes that give you extra points. Unfortunately, the levels look somewhat the same, the game graphics are very poor, sounds are simple, and the music is very repetitive. There is only one mode and one difficulty level.
