What setting needs to be changed to play just one file at a time without hitting the spacebar when the file is done? Where can I get a manual or documentation? Thank you.

This player doesn't have a manual. I've installed it, but there was no Help information. I've checked the official website and the installation folder and it was all without success.
I recommend you to install the latest version compatible with your operating system. You can download it from the official web page where are both versions for 32 and 64-bit architecture are available. Open the installer, select your language, click Next, read the License Agreement and press the I Agree button, select components to install, click again Next, choose the destination folder and press Install. After the installation process is complete click Close.
I would like to know if I can open 2 potplayers at the same time so I can review 2 files at once.
Thank you for your help.
Kind regards, Kevin

Check the configuration settings to allow multiple instances of this application; and if there is none, create another user on the PC and right click the executable file and select Run As. The application will run as your default username the first time you launch it, and when Run As is used, it will run again in another instance using the other username.

However, it appears that the developers have a forum where you can ask for official help: https://potplayer.daum.net/forum/
