CBS Package Inspector is an Explorer context menu (right click) option which allows users to open any CBS package (CAB or MSU files) or open all CBS packages in a folder. It displays all components of a CBS package, including files, registry keys/values, dependencies, SMI Settings and generic commands. It also shows the package metadata (MUM metadata) and allows users to view the metadata directly. It can save brief information about inspected packages in an xml and allows users to search for items such as metadata/components/files/registry keys/registry values/SMI settings/generic commands etc.
