I just don't understand how any person can give this a really good review. The good? It was good at visually showing the age it depicted, cars, clothing, etc. The bad? So much! The writing was not very good. The story was very convoluted. It just tried too hard and tried to cover too many issues. Was it a mystery? Was it a societal piece on race? Was it a woman's self-awareness & breaking into the man's world? That is just a few. It did not do any topic justice and the acting? It looked like everyone was just sleepwalking. I suppose they just couldn't rise above the material. The ending tried to wrap up all the loose ends in 10 minutes and was very unsatisfying. Oh yes, the dream sequence was way too long.
