About	This macro is of a California Poppy with a magnification of 2.9x actual size. Pictured are the anthers and pollen of this flower. I found the form and pattern of the anthers to be like no other flower I've photographed. The shallow depth of field is the result of combining a 100mm macro lens, a 12mm extension tube and a 2x teleconverter. mi sembra proprio che le tue macro non abbiano nulla da invidiare alle mie.. questa è di una delicatezza e coloristica impressionanti.. con un movimento a vortice che conduce lo spettatore al centro..

wow, beautiful center flower... as you say I don't think I've seen a pattern similar.
The tones and detail are excellent.
Do you think a square crop will work better, it will center the swirl...

An amazing macro Jim. I've often taken photos of the Californian poppies in season but have never seen them this up close or personal. A wonderful image with stunning colour.
