You're welcome Marco,
There never seems to be enough time to do the things we want to do.
You have a nice Christmas and New Year too.

thanks Andre for your heartfelt and useful advices!. I have started to print (manually) until some months and so every advices is well accepted :-) Unfortunately the time to spend for this passion is always too little. i hope in more time in the next year !
regards and best wishes for the next cristmas and new year.

Marco,
I have looked through most of your portfolio and I really like your style. I like your compositions and your toning with use of tri-x.
I notice you are asking for some advice with the use of film, so I will try a little. I'm sure you are aware of dodging and burning techniques in the darkroom, and for me to mention that you can alter your darkroom exposure times by masking certain areas of the paper is something you already know. Anyway, if it were up to me, I might have given the top half of this image a little more time and the bottom half a little less. to balance it out a little. Of course, it all depends on how you want your image to look.

One really small item that I've noticed on a lot of your prints is that you don't do any alteration of defects caused by dust on your negatives. You must know that it is very easy to clean them up using the smudge tool in PS or greyscale picker. It only takes a few minutes and makes a real difference to the image.
Also, for cleaning up dust and hairs on prints manually there are spot toners that work great too.
These are probably things that you already are aware of, but if not, I hope I might have helped a little.

Ciao.

..infatti devo imparare bene a masch/bruciare.

Cosa ti è accaduto in basso a dx?

Ciao
