Hi Emgy;
I like this abstract. It's between something biomorphic and postindustrial; a standoff of attrition, it seems. Visually captivating, I must say! And thank you for looking at some of my photos; I appreciate your comments. Regards,
Mark

Wonderful image! I think the dark portion at the top is a valid part of the overall image ( depending on who's interpretation, I think,) for to me, it's almost like coming from the dark, into the light, in a reproductive cycle. Great shot.

Sooo much texture and light!! I just discovered you; and I must say, your portfolio is stunning! You are creative and have a unique ability to find (physical) depth in most of your shots. It isn't all about the "most colorful", or the "most beautiful", or the "most fantastic", but rather, the most intriguing. In my opinion, that is what sets your work apart from most. I'll be watching.... ..Brad

Great abstract Emgy. The texture of the metalic object is strong here. I can say this one looks like almost a rock texture...if the lighting does not shine. Good one.

Bjorn Thanks for your suggestion of cropping the dark upper part. I did try the option but I didn't crop for the sake of the image's shape (My intention is to give all my material worlds a square or almost square shape, although it doesn't always work out exactly the way I would like, as it is the case in this photo). Another reason is that I think the dark part adds some depth. Without it (in my eyes) the image looks very flat. Thanks for comment

Emgy, I think your entire garden should be framed, hung, and exhibited!! Maybe it's just that famous Dutch light, but you seem to find a universe of luminance in the smallest places. This one is great!!
