hmm, do you think it's the red 25A filter? becasue i jsut purchased that filter a little while ago but i havent got a chance to take it outside on a bright and sunny day.
and i hope you don't mind if i add you as a friend on here so i can easily access your collection of photos.
i can't get enoug of these photos. they truely are inspirational to me.

Thanks so much, Paul. It is infrared that gives the contrast you see. It requires an infrared-sensitive camera and dark red (85?) filter. I took this one mid-afternoon, maybe 3pm Central Time, under strong, angled backlight.
