thank you for your kind comment I appreciated it a lot.
I composed this shot without crop in post production and I haven't used filter or other things.
I regulated only sharpness and brightness and then turn it in B/W.
The shot show exactly what I saw.
Stormy weather was coming and in a bit (two minutes after the shot) I was running away in the rain looking for a shelter....

Hi Paolo,
This is a wonderful capture! Good thing you weren't trying to balance this as well as taking a photo of it - now that would be chaos!
The composition is spot-on, and I think you have cropped at just the right places. The lighting really does create an atmosphere.
I really can't see how this photo could be improved, but for personal taste, perhaps just a touch more contrast.
On another note, I'd be really interested to know whether you filtered the colours using the camera or Photoshop? I'm keen to learn new tactics.

L'equilibrio sostiene il tutto,quando lo si trova non servono più gli appoggi...esterni!!!
Una splendida composizione, grande rigore nelle linee, ottima la tonalità, cupa ma incisiva per dare risalto alle forme!!

Hi Paolo, good feel of depth here. the tones are quite gloomy and ominous, creating the atmosphere. Interesting scene, and well composed. I think you have a small dustbunny on your CCD, visible through the spike of the largest wheel.

Ho ripensato alle condizioni del momento, ed effettivamente dovevi fare una scelta. Concordo su questa, c'era una luce pessima, il nubifragio successivo ne è stato la prova.
Però pensandoci un'alternativa c'era... la favolosa sposa bon-bon che si aggirava per Borghetto :)))) (veramente impressionante ricordi?)

Ciao Efisio, innazitutto buon proseguimento a te ed a tutti gli amici conosciuti a VR.
Concordo, sulla scarsa gamma tonale ma vuoi per l'assenza di luce (per farla ho lavorato a 1250 ASA per ottenere un tempo di 1/10)vuoi perchè mi piaceva l'aspetto cupo, decisamente precario di ciò che avevo composto con il mirino, quindi ho pronunciato il contrasto nel convertirla in B/W ed ottenere queste sensazioni visive.
sono contento che la composizione ti piaccia a presto.
