EYBL 2013 FINALS: NIKE PEACH JAM

This past weekend 24 of the top Nike teams in the country traveled to North Augusta, SC, to compete in the EYBL 2013 Finals at the Nike Peach Jam.  New England was represented well, as both BABC and Expressions Elite earned invites to this prestigious event through there play during the EYBL regular season.  Included in that group were 3 HEA alumni.  Lets take a look at how each played during the event.

Terance Mann – 6’5″, Guard, BABC – Mann has grown tremendously over the EYBL season, and his game was on full display throughout the Peach Jam.  Mann averaged 11 points per contest during the event, which was good for second on the team behind only Bonzie Colson.  Mann had his best game finishing with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists to finish of the event against All Ohio Red.  Mann saw his recruiting soar of the course of the EYBL season, including offers from Florida and Iowa State.

Bruce Brown – 6’4″, Guard, BABC – Brown saw limited action during the event, seeing time in 3 contests.  Brown finished the Peach Jam averaging 3.3 points per game, including a 4 point performance against Team Takeover.  Look for the Brown, who will reclassify into the class of 2016, to build on his EYBL experience heading into the rest of July live period.

Chris Baldwin – 6’8″, Forward, Expressions Elite – Baldwin saw action in 2 games for his Expressions Elite squad.  During his time on the floor Baldwin was able assert himself on the boards.  Although he saw limited action, Baldwin did receive an offer from La Salle during the EYBL season.  Look for the young forward to continue to gain confidence through his experience playing in the EYBL moving forward during July live period.
