Mr. Bailey
|
Mr. Bailey works at the Hall of Records.
He's the kind of person who only looks out for himself, but he
can be helpful if you push the right buttons - for example,
offer to do his Christmas shopping, or point out that his
favorite donut shop will be torn down to make room for the new
mall.
Voice:
Vincent Schiavelli
Arnold's Christmas
Hey Arnold!: The Movie
|
Madame Blanche
|
Season 2
|
|
Madame Blanche runs "Madame Blanche's Love Potions" shop (although she
also tells fortunes and has been known to sell Good Luck kits). The going rate seems to be ten dollars each.
Voice: Kathy Najimy

"Caesar"
|
Season 4
|
|
This guy seems to have a lot of jobs, including a carnival ride operator (in "Love
& Cheese"), a cook (in "Buses, Bikes, and Subways"), and a fish store employee. The name comes
from the fish store in "Friday the 13th".
Voice: Steve Viksten

Friday the 13th (fish store employee [uncredited])
Helga Blabs It All (fish cook [uncredited])
Love And Cheese (ride operator)
Sally's Comet (someone listening to Gerald's speech
[uncredited])
He also has uncredited speaking parts in Freeze Frame,
Mugged (it's hard to recognize him, as his eyebrow is missing),
On The Lam (he's the wrestling referee), Quantity Time (he's shushing Helga and Big Bob at "Rats"),
and the movie (he's the truck driver who almost drives off the
overpass),
but I don't know who voices him
Also, this guy has cousins or something all over the place; someone who looks like him, but has a bushy eyebrow and a
few less teeth, is the watch salesman in "Headless Cabbie"
(voiced by Dan Castellaneta), and someone else who looks like
him, but with more hair, is the repairman in "Road Trip" (voiced
by Maurice LaMarche)

Mayor Dixie

Ray Doppel |
Season
4 (Ray is on the right)
You can tell
them apart by Ray's
"thinner" hair and pointier nose |
|
He looks like Dino Spumoni, and he sounds
like Dino Spumoni, but Ray Doppel is "the Dino Experience" - a
Dino impersonator. He tried to fill the void opened by
Dino's death, but when it turned out Dino wasn't dead after all,
Ray is pretty much reduced to playing in small clubs. Then
again, Dino was once reduced to singing at an elementary school
dance...
Voice: Michael B. Levin

Hey Arnold!: The Movie
|
Eduardo |
Eduardo was Arnold's father's partner when he
was in Central America helping "the green-eyed people" (as
mentioned in "The Journal"). It was also Eduardo who came
back a couple of years after Arnold's parents had "retired" to
get them to come back to the country to stop another disease;
Arnold's parents left Arnold behind, took off in their plane,
and have not been heard from since.

Harvey
|
Season 1
|
|
The neighborhood mailman - er, "letter carrier" (well, he calls himself
a mailman in "Eugene's Birthday"). Considering
that he is voice by a very popular singer of his time, it's
surprising Harvey doesn't do much singing, although he does play
the trumpet (in the movie, at Blockapalooza).

Mickey Kaline
|
Season 1
|
|
Arnold's favorite baseball player, although he retired from the game (after hitting
a home run with his final swing...which Arnold caught, only to give back). The name is most likely a combination
of Mickey Mantle (one of the great New York Yankees players) and Al Kaline (a not quite as great as Mantle but
still a Hall Of Fame player, mainly with the Detroit Tigers in the late 1960s).
Voice: Ron Perlman

Leichliter |
Season 5 |
|
Leichliter (no first name mentioned) is a
drama critic turned musical director. His disposition
isn't entirely sour - he'll shed a tear or laugh out loud on
occasion - but he's pretty much the "anti-Eugene". Still,
there's one person he's seen that has real acting talent: Helga.

Monkeyman |
I think Gerald describes Monkeyman best:
How many times have we awakened to the
frightful cry -
Monkeyman!
How many times have we seen him with the corner of our eye
Never stopping, always speeding by
A flash of his cape, down the alleys he streaks
Scampering up fire escapes like a freaked-out chimpanzee
Monkeyman!
Some say he's a force for good
A twisted urban Robin Hood
Defending the weak and downtrodden
Some say he's a force for bad
A tricky and conniving cad
Forlorn and just plain rotten
Still others say he's some guy in pajamas
Living on stolen bananas
Who knows? No one's ever talked to him
But if you find yourself in the heart of downtown
Keep looking around
Because you just might run into him...
