You are so welcome, Lindsay, and thanks for making them. Sometimes I have to boil the potatoes a little longer too and I think that it depends on how fresh the potatoes are. :)))

I think it makes a big difference which noodles you use. Last time I made it I bought some kind of Chinese noodles that barely got soft. Ruined the whole thing. Not very knowledgeable about Asian foods.

Hi, Lindsay! Looking at the Cream Cheese Cranberry Muffin recipe you recently reviewed made me think it looked familiar. Sure enough, except for less baking powder, it is identical to my recipe for Cherry Pound Cakes. No wonder I thought the muffin recipe looked so good!

This is so easy a and soo darned good! I ate 3 bowls before I could stop myself! It was thick and hearty, I did change only 2 things about this recipe. I only added 2 bay leaves (as I am sensitive to bay flavor) that was perfect for me. also didn't add the Adobo seasoning for 2 reasons. 1) most Mexican seasonings have MSG or are way too salty for me. 2) didn't have it on hand. so just skipped it. I followed the rest of the recipe as written. Perection! and makes a lot! I ate 3 bowls, (See I told you I couldn't stop!) hubs ate one large one, and saved 2 more for lunches for today, and still had 5 (16oz.) bowls to put in the freezer. This will be a staple winter food for my house now! thank you so much LindsayB for sharing this recipe with us!

Hi Lindsay I saw you asked how you add your recipes to the IMI II. Well you go to the recipe you want to add's page. Then you go to the right hand corner and there is a drop down box then a list of groups. Choose the IMI II then I will accept it and it's added into our recipes file in the group! You only want to add your recipes to the IMI II that someone has reviewed in there :) Let me know if it is still confusing, but it does look like at some point you added Fabulous Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole to the Refugees, so you've done it before :)
