How to make it

  • In a bowl combine egg, pizza sauce, bread crumbs, and Italian seasoning
  • Crumble raw beef over mixture and mix well
  • Divide between 12 greased muffin cups- press onto the bottom and up side
  • Make a small hole in the middle of each and fill with cheese
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes or until meat is no longer pink

    Because of the hollowed shell for the cheese, it made transferring these meat muffins to the plate a task without them breaking up. A little cooling time benefits these.

    I like the juicy aspect of the dish although there was more grease in the bottom of the tin than I would like.

    These are a staple in my freezer!! I use string cheese in the middle. I also change from itialn to mexican and use cheddar cheese, taco seasoning and salsa!

    Yum, these sound good! I'm not a meatloaf fan, but Scott is, so maybe this could be a compromise. I'll have to try it out.
