Broccoli-cauliflower Casserole

- 1 1/2 cups cauliflower florets cut up shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets cut up shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 3 cups milk or as needed shopping list
- 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
- dash worcestershire sauce shopping list
- salt & pepper, nutmeg to taste shopping list
- buttered breadcrumbs for the topping shopping list
- ( fresh or dried breadcrumb & pats of butter ) shopping list
- parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Cook veges until tender but not mushy.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, sprinkle flour into pan, and whisk and cook until a smooth paste
- Slowly add milk, whisking constantly until thickened and smooth
- Add grated cheese, worcestershire,nutmeg, salt and pepper and continue stirring until melted;
- Mix into vegetables, place in casserole, top with ( fresh or dried )
- breadcrumbs, dots of butter, and heavy dusting of parmesan cheese
- Bake 350F till hot and bubbly about 25 to 30 minutes
- I froze the casserole , then reheated in the oven again
