Porch Swing French Toast

- 2 T. butter shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup cream shopping list
- 8 oz. can crushed pineapple shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 T. orange zest shopping list
- 1/2 teas. vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 teas. nutmeg shopping list
- 1 loaf French bread, cut in 1” slices shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 T. corn syrup shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- The night before, melt butter in 9X13” pan. Place bread slices evenly in pan, overlapping if necessary. Combine all ingredients (except topping) and pour over bread. Combine topping ingredients except for pecans, and spread over bread. Sprinkle with pecans. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350º and bake for 40 minutes till golden brown.
