Oringe Cheesecake

- 1-1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs {about 36 wafers} crush in zip lock bag with rolling pin if you can't find in box on bake isle shopping list
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter,melted shopping list
- 3 { 8oz } packages cream cheese,softened shopping list
- 1 { 14oz } can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk { NOT evaporated milk } shopping list
- 1/2 cup frozen orange juice concentrate,thawed shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 tbs. cornstarch shopping list
- the zest of 1-1/2 lg or 2 Sm oranges shopping list
- 1 ts orange liqueur { all alcohol bakes out } shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 300
- Combine crumbs and margarina;press firmly on bottom of 9 inch springform pan.
- In large mixer bowel,beat cheese until smooth.{ best if at room temp. }
- Add juice concentrate,eggs,cornstarch and zest
- Pour into prepared pan. Place a pan of water on lower rack under cake pan.
- Bake 55-60 minutes or until set. { Take out if top is turning brown. Brown is bad.}
- Turn oven off and let sit 1 hour with door closed.
- Take out and let cool.
- Chill overnight in fridge.
