chinese sparerib sauce

- 2 tablespooons salad oil shopping list
- 2 green onions sliced shopping list
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry sherry shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tbs. ground ginger shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
How to make it
- In a quart saucepan over medium heat in hot salad oil,cook green onions untill tender and light brown.about 5 minutes
- Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce,sherry,cornstarch,ginger and salt.
- cook over medium high heat untill mixture boils and thickens slightly.
- cook 1 minute stirring constantly
- Refrigerate sauce{if not using right away.
- Use sauce to brush on pork spare ribs, prok chops or chicken or Turkey parts during cooking
