Hazelnut Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup pasteurized egg substitute
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 teaspoons hazelnut extract
- 1/4 teaspoons xanthan gum
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
How to make it
- Combine half and half, milk, sugar, egg substitute, flavor extracts and xanthan gum in a blender.
- Cover and puree 3 minutes then pour into freezer of your ice cream maker and stir in the nuts.
- Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Let stand 5 minutes at room temperature or until it can be sliced easily.
