Whole Wheat Pitas

- 4 cups whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp dry yeast shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups warm water shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Sift together 2 cups of flour and yeast
- Add water and salt and mix well
- Continue adding in remaining flour just until dough cleans the sides of the bowl.
- I only ended up using about 1 cup more flour
- Knead dough for 4-5 minutes
- Divide dough into 10 balls
- Roll each ball out onto floured surface
- Place on baking sheet and allow to rise for 30 minutes
- Flip pitas and place in oven for about 5 minutes
- They will pop up when finished baking
