Corn Soup

- 1/4 pound butter shopping list
- 1/4 pound flour shopping list
- 1 small onion, diced shopping list
- 2 celery stalks, Diced shopping list
- 2 cups chicken broth or stock shopping list
- 1 cup milk. Scalded shopping list
- 2 cups corn (or more if desired) shopping list
- salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Saute veggies in butter until tender
- Add flour to make a roux.
- Cook lightly, til roux turns a golden shade.
- While whisking, add stock and scalded milk.
- Add corn and seasonings.
- Simmer and serve.
