How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Add all sauce ingredients to saucepan
  • Mix well and bring to boil, stirring constantly
  • Remove from heat and cool
  • Grease large baking sheet
  • In skillet, add oil, cabbage, carrots, and celery and cook until tender crisp
  • Remove from skillet and set aside
  • Brown ground beef in same pan; drain
  • Stir in sugar, garlic powder, pepper, peanut butter and soy sauce and cook until peanut butter is melted
  • Remove from heat and stir in vegetables
  • Separate dough into 8 rectangles and press perforations to seal
  • Cut each rectangle into 3 4x2 inch pieces
  • Spoon 1 tbls. filling on half of each small rectangle to 1/4 inch of edges
  • Fold dough in half over filling and pinch edges to seal
  • Roll slightly to form egg roll shape
  • Put on baking sheet and brush with egg
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  • Bake 12-16 minutes
  • Serve with plum dipping sauce
  • Makes 24

    Wynne, this is so great - love the plum sauce, too...and I can't resist egg rolls, with the ease of crescent dough yet - fantastic!

    Sounds good! I saw a recipe somewhere,there's so many can't remember where I got it from,they used coleslaw mix with cabbage and carrots in it.That way you're filling is already chopped up, I thought what a great idea.High 5!
