fortune cookies

- Serves 4
this is a good recipe it takes some time but u can have lots of fun with the fortunes inside!!
Ingredients
- 1 c flour shopping list
- 1/2 c sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 c oil shopping list
- 4 egg whites shopping list
- 1 tbs water shopping list
- fortunes on 1/2 x 3 " paper strips shopping list
How to make it
- heat oven to 300 degreese
- in a bowl combine first 5 ingredients wisk together
- add next 4 ingredients and beat for 1 min
- spread 1 tbs cookie batter into a 4" circle on greased baking sheet
- repeat to make 4 disks
- bake 12 min or untill light brown
- set 1 disk in center of a pot holder
- place a fortune in center then fold in half and pinch ends together
- drape it fold side down over a rim of a coffee mug
- press down on both sides to curve cookie into a cresent
- set cookie into a muffin tin to cool compleatly so they crisp up and hold their shape
- store in air tight container up to 2 weeks
