Puerto Rican Flan

- A can of carnation milk shopping list
- A can of sweet condensed milk shopping list
- A cup of sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp. of vanilla extract shopping list
- 8 egg yolks shopping list
- For Caramel: shopping list
- 1 cup of sugar shopping list
- half cup of water shopping list
- 2 small round pans shopping list
- one large lasagna pan shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl put sugar and egg yolks beat lightly until everything is incorporated
- add vanilla
- add both cans of milk
- mix till everything is mixed (do not over mix)
- boil water and sugar till lightly brown
- add caramel to the baking pan just enough to cover the bottom of pan
- add flan mixture into pans
- bake over (BAÑO DE MARIA)a little water inside the outter pan about half way
- Bake for 1 hr. or till thick let it cool than put in the fridge for about an hour
