How to make it

  • Drain pineapple chunks and reserve 3/4 cup juice.
  • In a double boiler, combine the juice, flour, sugar, eggs and salt.
  • Cook over very low heat until thick.
  • In a casserole dish, layer cream cheese, marshmallows and pineapple chunks twice
  • Pour sauce over top.
  • Finish with a generous layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until bubbly hot.
