Hi, I did make this sauce, but ended up blending it and also added some fresh Italian parsley and freshly ground pepper. I served it with pasta, grated parmesan and grated lemon peel. Was it ever good!

I'm sitting here eating a few cloves of pickled garlic and wondering what to make for dinner, this sounds great. Rollande et Pierre used to serve a steak on a sizzling hot platter (pre-fajita days) circa 1974 and pour a bubbling hot garlic butter sauce over the steak after it was carved tableside. They called it "ranch steak provencal" which was a nod to the meateaters in a French restaurant. Yummmmmmm!

This sounds great! I LOVE garlic. I'll have to try this one when I'm on vacation for a week (garlic loves me, too -the smell sticks with me for days)
