Pumpkin Fritters

- 1- 15 ounce can pumpkin shopping list
- 1/2- cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/4- teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1-teaspoon baking powder- shopping list
- 1-teaspoonground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2- teaspoon ground allspice shopping list
- 1/4- teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- canola oil for frying shopping list
- powdered sugar for garnish shopping list
- note;....... i like to put pecans chopped in them .........i love the nuts but make them how you like them.......... shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except the oil and sugar..
- mix just unitl blended.
- pour the oil to a depth of about 1 inch deep into a skillet or fryer
- test the oil for hottestby dropping small amt batter into it it should rise pretty quickly.
- drop the batter by teaspoonfulfuls into the hot oil, being careful not to crowd the skillet.
- after the bottoms start to brown , turn the fritters over so they brown evenly.( they cook very quickly 1-3 minutes)
- drain well on paper towels
- serve immed.....or can reheat in oven for about 10 minutes 400 degrees f.
- sprinkle with powdered sugar prior to serving ............
- or serve warm caramel dipping sauce...... yummmm
