Candis Hammy Potato Soup

- 4 to 6 medium to large potatoes shopping list
- 1 small turkey ham or 1 pkg diced ham shopping list
- 1 can milk shopping list
- 1 small onion shopping list
- 1/2 gallon milk shopping list
- 1 tbsp. butter shopping list
- 2 chicken bouillons shopping list
- 1 cup shredded cheese (any you like) shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- dice potatoes and chop onion
- place in large pot and add water just to cover
- drop in 2 bouillons
- add butter adn bring to a boil
- dice turkey ham (if not using already diced ham)
- when potatoes come to a boil, add ham
- continue to boil until potatoes are done
- add can milk, stirring
- fill rest of pot with milk (may take more or less depending on pot size)
- add salt and pepper to taste
- let simmer until soup is hot, but not boiling
- **sometimes I use 1 pint of whipping cream instead of can milk for a richer, creamier soup**
