13 Egg White Angel Food Cake

- 1 Tablespoon water shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 13 egg whites shopping list
- 1 Cup flour,sifted shopping list
- 1-1/2 Cups sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring shopping list
How to make it
- Add water and salt to egg whites,set aside.
- Combine flour and sugar.
- Note:You will be sifting 5 times(guess this is the key to the recipe)
- Sift together,then add cream of tartar.
- Sift dry ingredients 5 times.
- Beat egg white mixture until light and fluffy.
- Gradually FOLD in vanilla and almond flavoring,alternating with dry ingredients.
- Pour into large angel food cake pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes,turn off heat.
- Leave in oven for 30 minutes or more.
- Invert cake over a old empty soda bottle,and leave until cold,cut out of pan.
- Note: will rise quite a bit.
