Beer and Potatoe Soup

- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic shopping list
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped shopping list
- 1 stalk diced celery shopping list
- 6 cups boiled diced potatoes shopping list
- 32 ounces beer shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chicken boullion shopping list
- 64 ounces chicken stock shopping list
- roux to thicken( equals parts of butter and white flour) shopping list
- 4 cups cream shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- Instructions: Serves 10 or more shopping list
How to make it
- Sauté garlic in butter for 1 minute, add vegetables and saute for 3-5 minutes or until tender. Add potatoes and beer and bring to a boil. Mash potatoes against sides of pot. Add sugar, stock, boullion and salt and pepper. Add roux until thick. Add cream, stir and serve.
