Chicken Tenders with Gouda Gravy

- 8 boneless skinless chicken tenders (2 per person) shopping list
- 3 tbsp thyme shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 2 tbsp butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp flour shopping list
- ½ cup chicken broth shopping list
- ½ cup milk or half-and half shopping list
- 1 ¼ cups gouda cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Season chicken tenders with thyme, salt, and pepper
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add the chicken and cook 3 minutes per side
- In a small heavy saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat
- Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, then whisk in the chicken broth and milk, cook until thicken, 2-3 minutes
- Using a wooden spoon, stir in the cheese in a figure-eight motion until melted, about 2 minutes
- Serve the chicken topped with the Gouda gravy
