Seafood Chowder

- 1 cup chopped sweet onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup diced carrots shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon oil shopping list
- 21/2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 11/2 pounds new potatoes, diced shopping list
- 11/2 cups fresh sweet corn kernels shopping list
- 11/2 cups heavy cream shopping list
- 1 pound crabmeat shopping list
- 1 pound medium shrimp, shelled shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seafood seasoning shopping list
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, if desired shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onion and carrot in oil over medium heat for 3 minutes, then add garlic and continue to cook 2 more minutes.
- Stir in chicken broth, then add potatoes and corn, simmering for 15 minutes.
- Add seafood seasoning and salt, then stir in cream. Heat through at a low simmer about 5 min.
- Add crab and shrimp. Simmer about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
