Tejas Chile Fudge Pie

- 2 teaspoons ancho puree shopping list
- 1/2 pound butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 unbaked pie shell shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter and let cool to warm.
- Toast pecans and walnuts until lightly brown.
- Beat eggs well then add sugars and flour and beat until smooth.
- Add warm butter and mix well then add chile puree.
- Stir in nuts and chocolate chips then pour filling into pastry shell.
- Bake at 325 for 55 minutes.
