Creamy Potato Soup

- 2 pounds potatoes peeled and chopped into 1" cubes shopping list
- 1 cup cooked diced carrots shopping list
- 1 cup chopped sauteed onion shopping list
- 2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 11/2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In large saucepan cook potatoes in water to cover until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain.
- Meanwhile saute onions in butter.
- Cook carrots in 2 cups of water for 15 minutes(DO NOT DRAIN)
- Place 1/4 each of potatoes, carrots and all carrot liquid and onion in food processor and process until smooth.
- Transfer to large saucepan, add remaining vegetables and seasoning
- Heat through
