My Favorite Sirloin Tip Roast
Ingredients
- 1 4 pound sirloin tip roast
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder, optional
How to make it
- Place a sheet of aluminum foil inside a black iron skillet with edges extending upward slightly
- Place roast in skillet on top of foil
- Place pats of butter over roast to cover
- Sprinkle with black pepper
- Sprinkle generously with Worcestershire Sauce
- Place in a 350 oven
- Baste occasionally with the juices
- Cook until desired doneness
- Remove from oven and let set a few minutes before slicing
- Slice *thinly* to serve
- When there are leftovers, I slice thinly, and sizzle in a black skillet in more butter and Worcestershire
- This is truly delicious. Great in wraps also.
- For a sandwich dip, extra butter and Worcestershire Sauce can be cooked separately and cooked down for a little while
- Make sandwiches on hearty crusty bread, serve some of this sauce in a separate bowl and dip away! :)
