Chocolate Syrup Bundt Cake

- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 2 3/4 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 2/3 cup chocolate syrup shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- chocolate buttercream drizzle recipe ( see below ) shopping list
- 2 Tbs chocolate syrup shopping list
- buttercream drizzle: shopping list
- 3 Tbs softened butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sufgar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 Tbs chocolate syrup shopping list
- milk if needed shopping list
How to make it
- Sift together dry ingredients and set aside.
- In another bowl, beat sugar and oil till well blended and add eggs, one at a time
- Alternating , beat in flour with buttermilk.
- Blend in chocolate syrup and vanilla.
- Pour batter into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan.
- Bake in a preheated 325F oven about 90 minutes or cake tested done in center with toothpick.
- Cool on rack 15 minutes.
- Remove from pan and completely cool.
- Drizzle with chocolate buttercream and just before serving drizzle with the chocolate syrup.
- Buttercream:
- Beat butter with 1/2 cup powdred sugar.
- Beat in the syrup, and vanilla and then beat in 3/4 cup powdered sugar.
- If too thick, thin with some milk umtil mixture drapes off spoon.
