Salmon Pot Pie

- 15 oz. cooked salmon shopping list
- 4 tbsp. butter shopping list
- 4 tbsp. flour shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 2 medium carrots, grated shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped finely shopping list
- 3 cups prepared mashed potatoes shopping list
How to make it
- Flake salmon. Make a white sauce from butter, flour, seasonings and milk. When its thick, remove from heat; add grated cheese; stir to combine until cheese is melted. Add flaked salmon, celery, carrot and onion. Pour mixture into buttered shallow 2 quart casserole dish. Pipe potatoes around edge. (I simply cover the salmon mixture with potatoes.) Bake at 450 F for 30 to 40 minutes, until bubbly and potates are nicely browned.
