Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, 2-3 minutes per side. Meanwhile, finely grate peel from half of lemon, then slice the whole lemon. Once chicken has browned, add peel and broth to pan. Cover and cook over medium-low heat, turning halfway through, until chicken feels springy when pressed, about 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken to platter. Stir dill in pan juices and add the lemon slices. If sauce is too thin heat to medium-high and stir often until as thick as you like.
  • Pour sauce over chicken and serve with rice and green beans or asparagus.

I've made this before except I used lime instead of lemon. It's one of my families favorites!
