How to make it

  • Make Burgers:
  • Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl; stir well. Add lamb, cheese, and mint; stir well. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping into 1/2-inch-thick patties.
  • Prepare grill. Place patties on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 5 minutes on each side or until done.
  • Place patties on bottom halves of buns; top each with 2 tablespoons tomato, 2 tablespoons Cucumber-Dill Sauce, and top half of bun.

  • Make Cucumber-Dill Sauce:
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and stir well.

    I have never had lamb before but these burgers sound soooo good that I will try it. If they taste half as good as they sound I know it will be a winner!!!

    Well, it has happened again... I was looking for your touchdown chicken recipe when I got sidetracked -- imagine that!(yes, I could have typed in touchdown, but this is more fun!)

    ooh now this looks delicious. i love to make my version of greek burgers with sauteed spinach and just topped with the feta, but ground lamb, cheese inside, and tzatzki on top.. YUMMY!!!
