Honey Mustard Curry Chicken
From egravinapooh 17 years agoIngredients
- 6 -8 chicken drumsticks shopping list
- curry powder (Or Sylvia's Soul food seasoning) shopping list
- ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 bottle of any brand honey mustard (I use a yellow mustard combo rather than a spicy one - it seems to go well with the curry). shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Rinse chicken and pat dry.
- Sprinkle seasoning on bottom of 2 quart baking dish to make a light coat.
- Squeeze some honey mustard on top of seasoning - just some "squiggles" across the dish.
- Place the chicken, side by side (in alternating up and down order so they fit nicely) in the dish.
- Sprinkle with seasoning and squeeze some honey mustard over the top (to taste).
- Bake COVERED at 350 degrees for half an hour.
- Uncover and bake at 375 degrees for an additional 15-20 minutes or until done.
- **note - there will be a lot of "juice" at the bottom of the dish. I always transfer the chicken to a serving plate before presentation. The liquid can be added to mashed potatoes for a complimentary side.**
