Brittany Prune Cake

A delightful cake, sweet and flavorful. Makes you feel like you're in France... Enjoy! :)
Ingredients
- - 2 cups of flour shopping list
- - 1 cup of sugar shopping list
- - 4 eggs shopping list
- - 1 liter of milk shopping list
- - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract shopping list
- - 10 oz of pitted prunes shopping list
- Options: Add apricots or nuts for variety/dust lightly with powdered sugar. shopping list
How to make it
- Mix well all these ingredients, without the prunes.
- Pre-heat oven.
- Butter or oil a baking dish/loaf pan, then pour half of the preparation in there.
- Lay out the prunes, then pour the other half of mixture on top.
- Place in oven.
- Bake at medium heat (350°F) for approximately 50 minutes.
- Till golden brown, test with toothpick.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with Coffee or Tea.
