fish fried tomatoes

- 4 fist sized firm tomato's shopping list
- whatever oil you use for fry-in fish shopping list
- season salt( i like Mr's dash) shopping list
- shore lunch batter, Cajun mix, this is like fine pancake flour shopping list
How to make it
- heat the oil
- slice the tomato's at least a 1/4 inch thick slabs
- lay flat on paper plate...
- sprinkle each tomato slice with Cajun batter
- flip and coat the opposite side
- use a spatula and place slices in the oil
- when the edges go brown flip them
- total cook time is fast if your oil is hot
- these are fried prior to your fish fry
- drain them on paper towel or paper plate...(dont use styrofoam)
- sprinkle one side with mrs dash while draining
- the tomato heels are tricky to coat on one side
- serve hot
