- 1 cup shortening shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 6 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 3 1/2 oz. flaked coconut shopping list
How to make it
- Oven Temp ~ 325° Baking Time ~ 1 Hour & 15 Min.
- Pan Type ~ Bundt pan
- Preheat oven, grease and flour your pan.
- Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, beating well after each addition.
- Beat in vanilla.
- Combine flour and salt; stir into creamed mixture.
- Fold in flaked coconut.
- Pour batter into a prepared pan.
- Bake coconut cake until cake tests done. Frost as desired.
